Guest Rowers

The Cape Fear River Rowing Club welcomes guests (experienced non-members) whose primary residence is at least 75 miles from Wilmington. Upon approval, guests may participate in coached rows, row using their own equipment, or be sponsored by an existing member to utilize member-owned or club equipment. All guests and their sponsoring member must agree to the terms of the Guest Rowing Policy and the terms noted on the Guest Request & Agreement form.

Guests are limited to five rows in any membership year.  Discounted CFRRC memberships are available for guests interested in rowing more frequently.

A guest must:

• Be an experienced rower
• Have a primary residence at least 75 miles from Wilmington
• Submit and have approval of a guest request at least one week prior to the requested dates of visit
• Submit all other waivers (US Rowing, CFRRC, etc.) in advance as requested
• Adhere to any other conditions of participation as set by the Club (i.e., be COVID-vaccinated in order to participate in coached rows)
• Pay guest and/or storage fees prior to going out on the water
